In a memo dated June 11, 2020, FCBOE Superintendent Joseph Barrow asked the Board to consider a change in back to school start dates.

“I am requesting an extension of pre-planning days for the 2020-21 school year. My request is that teachers be given 10 days of pre-planning beginning July 27, 2020, through August 7, 2020. The first day of school would be August 10, 2020.”
