Puerto Rico is still trying to pick up pieces from Hurricane Maria from four years ago now being left to have to pick up even more pieces.
Puerto Rico has not only plummeted financially, but the hope for the further existence of this island has also plummeted. According to the estimates of USGS, potential economic losses greater than $100 million have resulted from the 6.4 earthquake on Jan. 7. Many people in Puerto Rico have been left without a source of power and water service. Both earthquakes were followed by aftershocks.
