Annual Homecoming Dance
Oct 9, 2019
The 2019 McIntosh homecoming dance took place in the McIntosh gymnasium on Sept. 8 from seven to ten. The theme of homecoming dance this year was Hollywood. The dance was decorated with a red carpet that led from the entrance doors of the gymnasium to the top of the gymnasium staircase and photoshopped movie posters with Mcintosh administrators. The red carpet didn’t roll itself out or the movie posters weren’t photoshopped by themselves, but this was all attributed by McIntosh student council members.
” I didn’t realize how much went into planning, budgeting, and coordinating all the elements of the dance, and although not everything turned out exactly as we envisioned it, most of the students had a wonderful time, and that was our top priority,” said sophomore McIntosh student council member Celine Bennett.
The efforts that were put into organizing this dance gave the McIntosh student body a night to remember. “They played popular music, and I liked the hype, ” said sophomore Isaac Sanders.
