McIntosh Ambassadors provide food for families in need this Thanksgiving. The guidance counselors choose three McIntosh families that are in financial need, to have the Ambassadors Club collect and donate food this Thanksgiving. Ambassador members each sign up for specific items to bring into the guidance office, along with the funds to buy a turkey or ham for each family. Later they are separated into three boxes for the various families.

Junior Ann-Charlotte Langet loves to donate food to help these families in need. “I always feel good when I donate the food to these families,” said Langet. “It’s a nice feeling knowing that the food is going to families who really need it. That way, they can have an amazing Thanksgiving holiday.”

Ambassadors come in individually to bring in their donated items. On Friday, November 16, the three families chosen come and pick up their designated box filled with the donated food to enjoy on Thanksgiving day.
