The Young Libertarians Club has been learning more about political parties and what differentiates them. Club members are learning who the Libertarian candidates are and what policies they stand for. Olivia Hite is a first-year member of the Young Libertarians club. “I didn’t know exactly what a Libertarian was before I joined the club,” Hite said. “I’ve enjoyed learning more about the political party, especially since it’s not represented that well in America’s government.” Thanks to the club’s sponsor and officers, students are able to meet with people who have similar viewpoints and converse with each other. The club meets the first Tuesday of every month and the club’s president, Katrina Skonberg, says new members are always welcomed.
