German Club Meeting in October
On October 12, the MHS German club met for their second meeting of the year. The topic of the meeting was German Unity Day which took place on October 3. German Club members gave a presentation and explained it is an important historical holiday in Germany. After the fall of the Berlin Wall a unification treaty was signed on the third of October. From then on every year on that date Germany celebrates and commemorates the unification of East Germany and the Federal Republic of Germany. After the presentation, Herr Keough gave out candy to the members because it is the only meeting in October and Halloween will be arriving soon.
