The SkillsUSA team will be attending the State Leadership and Skills Conference March 23-25. Students who won in the last competition (quiz bowl, pin design, advertising design) or who are competing in state-level events are preparing for nationals. The State Championship competitions will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center. Most of the competitors have resumes and projects that have to be done prior to the events.

Sophomore Zoriah Brown said, “I’m excited to go to State Championship competitions with my group. We will be designing a promotional bulletin board and participate in an interview to present our design to a panel of judges, which takes a great amount of preparation. A great amount of preparation will be done to hopefully place well in the competition.”
