Model United Nations team competed at the UGAMUN competition Friday, Feb. 3 through Sunday, Feb. 5. The 12 member Model United Nations team represented the country of Lebanon, and their task was to solve problems relating to drug issues, structural issues, and country relations. Another feature of the UGAMUN conference was the chance for members to work in a crisis committee where individual team members had to adopt the roles of specific characters and demonstrate how they would react to crisis situations. Senior Victor Cama was in a KGB crisis committee where he had the goal of quickly taking over Russia. Victor said, “I loved my crisis committee; it was so fast paced and fun. All of the committees at Model UN had a really interesting time.” Victor won the award for best delegate in his crisis committee.
