Ms. Gail Frantz, math and science teacher at Peeples Elementary, was named 2015 Fayette County Teacher of the Year at a ceremony held Thursday, April 23. Each school in the county was represented by its teacher who was selected as Teacher of the Year for its school. McIntosh was represented by Ms. Lynne Bruchetti, English teacher and department chair, who was one of the three finalists in the competition. The other finalist was Mr. Sean Bennett, language arts teacher, from the alternative school.

During the ceremony McIntosh senior Jackie Gray and Ms. Danielle Oliver, who works in the after-school program at Cleveland Elementary, performed the song “Teach Me How to Dream,” a song which Jackie co-wrote with Ms. Dana Lamb.
