Junior Christina Cortes’ medal that she received from competing at the literary competition.

McIntosh competed at a literary competition at Ola High School in McDonough, Georgia, on Thursday, February 12.  Junior Christina Cortes won first place in girls’ extemporaneous, and Senior Mikey Muller won fourth place in boys’ extemporaneous speaking.  McIntosh placed second in the boys’ essay writing category.

Junior Christina Cortes said, “It was a really fun evening and a really small group.  It was a cool competition, and I’m excited for state.”
