Preparations are underway for the mock trials in Mr. Ward Abel’s debate class.  Students will use their knowledge of law and their debating skills to either prosecute or defend the accused.  The trials will begin  next week (January 12).

Freshman and defense attorney Sam Ellis said, “The mock trials allow intimate [insight] into the intricacies and inner workings of the United States Justice System.”

The intricacies will most certainly be showcased as some of McIntosh’s best public speakers go toe to toe in the competition.
