Eric Holder resigns from Attorney General position

According to ABC News, President Obama announced the resignation of now former Attorney General Eric Holder on Thursday, September 25, 2014.  Holder spent six years as the nation’s “top cop” progressing through the highs and lows of the Obama administration.  According to ABC, the President regarded Holder’s time in office as a time of “historic gains in the areas of criminal justice reform and civil rights enforcement.”

About Holder’s resignation, senior Mikey Muller said, “I think it’s really interesting how he chose this time of all times to resign from his position as Attorney General.  I would like to ask him why now and what made him choose to make such a decision.”

According to ABC News, in a recent interview with David Thomas, Holder said, “It is the honor of my professional life to serve the American people as Attorney General. I hope I’ve done a good job.”
