The junior varsity team ran the 4th annual Coach Daley Invitational on Saturday, September 20. The five kilometer course was set at the Northgate campus.

At the one mile marker, junior Zander Wilson was in second place while freshman Vladimir Zander-Velloso was in fifth. Then within the last mile, senior Justin Brown took control of the race and finished in first place. Junior Zander Wilson placed third with junior Denver Williams and freshman Vladimir Zander-Velloso followed in fourth and fifth.

The time one must run to letter is 18:59 or faster. At the race, all of the JV runners finished under this time limit. Senior Justin Brown finished with a time of 17:50, making the cut by over a minute. Sophomore Kevin McBride said, “The team did really well; I knew they were going to win when we had three in the top five.”
