Recent survey allows students influence future library renovations
Recently the students of Fayette County received a new email address. They can use these email addresses to respond to a survey from the administration. This survey will help students to change the library from a place that mainly offers students fictional reading selections to a place that helps students do research. Sophomore Riley Carraher said, “The library, needs more of a research focus. When I go down to the library I don’t find the books that I need to use as reference material.”
Many students go down to the library to hang out because BYOT is allowed within the media center. This adversely affects those students trying to study Sophomore Dylan Dodge said, “The library needs a study room where it is quiet enough to focus and study.”
The survey is available through Mrs. Walls’s wiki, thewallsofenglish.wikispaces.com.
