New planet possibly found past Pluto
Recently, according to Fox News, scientists at the Carnegie institution for science discovered a new planet in our newly redefined solar system. Astronomers discovered that there could possibly be a planet past Pluto. According to these scientists, the dwarf planet is roughly 7.5 billion miles from Earth and will have no effect on life here on planet Earth.
Meanwhile, McIntosh students were interested to hear this bit of news. Freshman Abby Giordano said, “It’s really cool that people can still find these things even at our day and age, and I will be very interested to learn more about it.”
