Firefly music festival announces lineup

One of Delaware’s largest music festivals, Firefly, is coming again on June 19. This four-day musical bonanza is a major event for concert-goers all across the East Coast. Just recently, the three headlining acts were announced: OutKast, Jack Johnson and the Foo Fighters. Among the other acts are the popular bands, Weezer, Imagine Dragons, the Lumineers, Young the Giant and Cage the Elephant.
Some McIntosh students are excited to be attending the festival for the first time, including senior Elizabeth Roshelli. She said, “I don’t have a certain favorite band, but I am looking forward to going. I will be going with three of my cousins who all went to Firefly last year. Most of the bands playing there would be considered indie, so I’m excited.”
Tickets go on sale starting Jan. 20 and start at $249.
