Student comments on Paul Walker’s death
In the midst of filming the seventh installment of “Fast and Furious,” Paul Walker, the star of the franchise, died in a car crash on Nov. 30, 2013. According to “MSN,” he was killed on impact after fellow driver Roger Rodas crashed their 2005 Porsche Carrera GT into a light post and a tree.
The car exploded into flames. According to “Daily News,” his death was caused by “thermal injuries,” and there was a rapid time lapse between the impact of the crash and his death.
“I think’s sad and kind of ironic that he died in a car crash,” said senior Cassandra Henges.
Walker’s funeral was held privately on Dec. 14, two weeks after the crash on Nov. 30. At the moment, Universal Studios has announced that the film will continue to be made despite Walker’s absence.
