PTSO looks for models for annual fashion show

The Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) has two main projects during each school year: the school store and Fashionata.

Fashionata is a prom-themed fashion show in which students from all grade levels model the latest formal-wear trends from local venues to raise money for the school. The theme for Fashionata 2014 is “Starry Night,” with inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic “Starry Night” painting.

This year’s Fashionata will be Friday, February 21 in the MHS auditorium.

Because of the club’s limited number of male members, in order to produce Fashionata, every year boys are recruited from around the school to help with the event. This time around, PTSO is hoping to have 20 girl models and 20 boy models, and so is in need of boy volunteers.

If you are interested in participating in this fundraiser, please contact PTSO’s Vice President of Fundraising/ Fashionata Coordinator Jessica Roberson at [email protected].
