Need Beta Club hours?
Do you need hours to fulfill Beta Club’s 10 hour requirement? Here are some opportunities to help the community and earn hours:
Saturday, September 27-
Peachtree City is hosting the annual Dragon Boat races this Saturday. They are looking for volunteers to help run this event. If you are interested, reply on the Edmodo’s Beta Club page with what time you are available to work, and an email address you wish to be contacted through. Shifts start at 7 AM and run throughout the day.
Friday, October 5; November 9; December 14
WeCare Respite, currently facilitated at Peachtree City Christian Church, gives parents the opportunity to drop off their special needs children for 8 hours while volunteers play games and hang out with the children. Each volunteer is matched with a buddy, and their role is to help the child transition from one activity to the next. Two shifts are available: the morning shift is 10:45 until 3:00; and the afternoon shift is 2:45 until 7:00. If you are interested, contact Shelley Mann at 770-969-8354.
Your donation supports the student journalists of McIntosh High School. Your contribution allows us to cover our annual website hosting costs, to help pay printing costs for "Back to Mac" magazine, and continuing education for staff, such as SNO trainings and MediaNow! editorial leadership training.
