PCPD seeks community help in active threat training exercises

Trail Staff

This summer, the Peachtree City Police Department will hold its 2023 active threat training for all officers and is looking for community members to help in their training. T To complete this training, PCPD needs several role players to play the roles of occupants and victims at the location of the active threat incident.  Two large-scale scenarios will be conducted with each group of officers focusing on post-incident procedures.

The dates are June 29-30 and July 13-14. All role players must arrive at 8 am and be done between 11 and 11:30.  All role players must be at least 16 if attending alone.  A parent must fill out a waiver before their attendance.  Children younger than 16 can participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
