The boys golf team competed in the Cougar Invitational Tournament on Saturday, March 18. The tournament was hosted at Summer Grove Golf Club in Newnan. Seventeen teams participated in the tournament.

Junior Jake Nigro was the top golfer from McIntosh. Jake hit a 76, which helped take McIntosh to the number five spot. Behind Jake was freshman Chip Conner and sophomore Shane Karafanda.

Shane said, “We’re all trying to bring our scores down for the area tournament in a few weeks. The golf team has their next tournament in Peachtree City at Flat Creek Country Club against Fayette County High School on Thursday, March 23.
