Ms. Connie Bryant’s Latin III students studied the Roman politician Cicero and translated part of his speech to present in front of the class. Cicero’s speech covers the conspiracy of a different Roman politician, Catiline, who wanted to overthrow Rome.

Students were assigned different parts of the speech to translate and read aloud to the class. The presentations included answering questions about the speech as well as sharing a a typed version of your translation with the class so other students could read the passage in order to prepare for the test over Cicero.
