March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, and with the Special Olympics fast approaching (March 24), students joined together to raise money for the Funds for Fayette Foundation to sponsor the 2016 Special Olympics, which will be held at Stars Mill.

For the week of Feb 29 through Mar 4, students from the special education classes and members of PALS ( “Peers are Linking Students”) Club collected money during lunches to support the Special Olympics

First year PALS member Sophomore Reina Garrett said, “It was fun to help out the  PALS Club and help them raise money for the Special Olympics because it is for a good cause.”
