Students in Ms. Connie Bryant’s Latin III class were given the opportunity to make Roman Valentines in celebration of the holiday. Students were allowed to make their Valentines for whoever they chose. On each student-designed Valentine the student wrote a small poem in Latin. Ms. Bryant showed the students Latin love poems for inspiration.

Junior Hyunkyung Lee said, “At first I was worried because I thought anything I might write would sound cheesy, but with a little help from my friend and Mrs. Bryant, I was able to finally come up with something I liked.”

Students were allowed to keep their Valentines so that they could give them to the intended recipients.
