Mr. Ward Abel’s first period debate class began its first civil court case of the year on Friday, Feb. 5. The defense lawyers are seniors Sam Ellis and Christopher Greco. The plaintiff lawyers are junior Samuel Ellis and freshman Arisa Gauvin. The case is about the alleged unlawful firing of a detective of the Miltonville Police Department.

Freshman Kate Cullen said, ” It’s nice to have a real mock trial to get the feel of what actual court will be like. It’s also nice how real Mr. Abel makes the mock trial.”
