Ms. Sharpe’s French III students use an outline for their letter about dress code concerns.

Ms. Johanna Sharp’s second period French III class brainstormed for ideas for their letter of dress code concerns on Friday, Jan. 29.  Each student contributed his or her thoughts and ideas into the list. Among their concerns was a perceived double-standard with bias towards females.

The students said that they understand the administration’s point of view when it comes to dress code; however, they said that they want to voice their opinion so the administration can see the dress code standard from students’ points of view.

To relate the letter to French class, students were required to write the letter in both French and English. The students said that they will send their class letter within the first two weeks of February to the McIntosh administration in hopes of a change.
