McIntosh alumni and current cheerleader at the University of West Georgia, Catie Callen was selected for the 2016 all- girl US national team on Jan. 18. Catie, who graduated in 2014, was a competition cheerleader at McIntosh when McIntosh won the state championship.

Catie said that she is “so proud to be able to say that [she is] going to be representing [her] country on Team USA All-Girl.”

Catie was selected along with 36 other girls, three of whom are from University of West Georgia.

Current McIntosh cheerleader, senior, Diana Mateos said, “It’s great to see that Catie Callen was chosen. She definitely deserved it.”
