The Spirit of McIntosh marching band kicked off their new season at the end of last school year, participating in multiple summer practices in order to begin mastering their music and drill. This year’s theme features music from England, South America, and Arabia, allowing many different cultures and musical styles to be integrated into this year’s show.

Band members attended Jacksonville State University this summer for their annual band camp, and rookie marchers and color guard members were able to learn the basics of marching and twirling. Leadership member junior Doug Morris believes this season is “their best one yet.”
