Hail abruptly began to fall in Peachtree City on Tuesday, March 30. The high temperature for the day was 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and the warm conditions gave way to light rain, which almost immediately led to hail slightly smaller than golf balls.

Sophomore Dylan Dodge said, “I was completely surprised by the hail that started so abruptly. I was especially surprised because it was so warm earlier in the day.”
