Mrs. Maggie Walls’s sophomore gifted English classes are currently reading the play Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. As a part of their studies, the students are discussing a famous scene in the play that takes place on March 14, or rather the day before the Ides of March.
Giving them an opportunity for extra points, Mrs. Walls created a multimedia project that involved the famed scene. The project called for the students to choose any form of art or media that they could use to portray every aspect of March 14, 44 B.C. as it is described in Julius Caesar.
Projects were completed in different forms, such as sketches, paintings, clothing, soundtracks and creative writing. Mrs. Walls has even displayed the projects at the front of her room.
