Mrs. Cannon’s biology classes have began their study of bacteria and viruses. The students were assigned to go around McIntosh and swab areas for potential bacteria.
The classes are not trying to prove that McIntosh is home to dangerous bacteria in any way. Most of the bacteria found is not harmful, and the faculty and students touch and handle these bacteria every day on door knobs and faucets.
Once collected, the bacteria is set in a incubator at body temperature, and it will remain there over the weekend.
The purpose of this lab is to see that bacteria is always around us and to see the different types of bacteria.

The bacteria are resting over night in the incubator to grow.

Mrs.Cannons class are working hard to accomplish their labs.
