While approved college visits do not count against student attendance, not all students have the ability to go on these visits, or they may have more than two colleges per semester that they want to visit. Any easy solution to this problem is having college representatives come to McIntosh.

We have multiple upcoming visits over the next few weeks. To attend one, you must go to the guidance office and sign up for the visit at least two days in advance.

Senior Katie Close said “I think this is a really cool idea to have colleges come to McIntosh since not everyone can go to visits all over the state. This provides students an opportunity they may not have had otherwise.”

1. Gwinnett College : Wednesday, January 21 from 1:39-2:39 p.m.

2. Gordon College: Friday, January 30 from 9:48-10:48 a.m.

3. University of North Georgia: Monday, February 9 from 1:40-2:40 p.m.

4. Georgia State University: Thursday, February 19 from 9:48-10:49 a.m. This is a visit only for seniors.
