Students look forward to Thanksgiving Break
Nov 14, 2014
Some McIntosh students will be leaving town for Thanksgiving while others will stay at home. Junior Kayla Ivory said, “I will be going to Florida, and I’m going to be spending time with my family. We’re going to have [Thanksgiving] dinner at my grandma’s house and spend time with all my cousins and my aunts.”
Junior Bailey Manson is undecided about her Thanksgiving plans. She said, “I’m either going to visit family or staying here and going on Black Friday sales.”
Another student interested in Black Friday sales is junior Katie Cameron who said, “What I’m doing over my Thanksgiving break: I’m going to Ohio to visit my dad, and we are going to eat a lot of turkey. Black Friday shopping is a big part of the tradition; we go out at 8:00 p.m. the night before, and we stay out all night to get those Black Friday deals.”
