The annual lighting of the Christmas tree at Lake Peachtree is returning to Peachtree City and will occur on December 6. Civic organizations will be leading concession stands to sell hot chocolate, candy and popcorn. Also, smores will be sold to coincide with the bonfire pits that will be set up around the library area. Hometown Holiday is the start of the Christmas season for the city.
The event begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. This event attracts many families and is an event that aides in spreading community bonding.
