KFC sells “chicken corsages” to prom-goers
Does your date love Kentucky Fried Chicken? Do you need to buy her a corsage? No worries, America’s favorite place to get fried chicken, KFC, is selling chicken corsages.
Many people, especially underclassmen, aren’t sure exactly what the function of a corsage is. Well, there isn’t an exact function except to have something to wear that is appealing to the eye.
A corsage is a small floral bracelet that a guy will give his date to wear on her wrist or her dress. Typically, the corsage flowers will match or complement the girl’s dress. The girl gives her date a boutonniere to wear on the label of his tuxedo.
If you’re looking for an out-of-the-box prom look, for $20 KFC sells a corsage that features a drumstick on the wrist. Local florists ship fresh baby’s breath and out-of-town florists ship silk baby’s breath. KFC includes a $5 gift card to buy a fresh chicken drumstick, since of course, the chicken is not included.
