Seniors Parker Chaffin and Marcella Bamdad casually ordered Chinese takeout for dinner on March 18. When they got their food and returned back home, Parker mischievously replaced the restaurant’s fortune cookie with one that he had pre-ordered online.

After finishing their meal, Parker insisted Marcella have a fortune cookie. When Marcella opened the fortune cookie, she was shocked to see a message addressed to her. It said “Marcella, will you go to prom with me?”

Overwhelmed with excitement, Marcella said yes.
