Tasty promposal catches attention of MHS students

As prom nears, guys and girls begin pairing up. That means the “promposals” start, and this year so far they have proved, so early in the game, to be just a unique as usual.

Senior Michael Cook got into costume for his “promposal.” On Thursday, March 8, Michael showed up at his date’s front door in a Marco’s Pizza uniform. He borrowed the uniform from a friend to go along with his plan. As his soon-to-be date, senior Anna Barfield, came towards the door she saw a pizza man through the window. Wondering who ordered it, considering her family had just eaten dinner, she opened the door anyways to see Michael looking at her.

He then opened the box and showed her the cheese pizza with sausage on it spelling out “Prom.” The top of the box had “Will you go to…..” written in Sharpie and then the pizza. She said yes, and then they spent their evening eating the “prom pizza” together.
