As winter approaches, things tend to get interesting. Schedules fill up with more things to do, Christmas is on the doorstep, and the weather starts to change. As many people notice around this time of year, during the span of one to two days, you may go from wearing shorts and a t-shirt to multiple layers and a jacket. This is the type of weather that the United States tends to experience this time of year.

Large temperature swings are noted for taking place this time of year, and that brings mayhem to the table. In some cases, towns are known for experiencing thunderstorms at the beginning of the day then snow at the end of the day. This can be scary for motorists and other people who are out and about.
Junior Naomi Sobel said, “I would probably stay in bed. I hate the cold.”  This is a great idea because it is always best to stay indoors in such scary situations.
