The upcoming Senior class of 2014 continued the tradition of tailgaiting and wearing their senior shirts the day after the seniors in the class of 2013 left.
On May 17, upcoming seniors met early in the morning to set up their tailgates in the parking lot. Students grilled hot dogs, swam in homemade pools in the back of pick up trucks and listened to music while making memories with friends.
Freshman Marguerite Stonier said, “The tailgate was a surprise because it was a tradition I was unaware of.”
Upcoming senior Helena Wong said, “I had zero period and could not skip the class, so I missed out on the first half of the tailgate. While I was dissapointed, I was glad I could come out after class and take pictures with my friends. It was an awesome experience that I want to do again.”
