Ms. Katie Turner, a FCHS graduate, returns to Fayette County as a special education math teacher at McIntosh.
A recent GCSU graduate, Ms. Turner said that she was drawn to McIntosh because of its academic excellence and its proximity to her home.
Ms. Turner said that her interest in math was sparked by her second grade teacher, Mrs. Roth.
She said, “If my teaching style was a food, it would be spaghetti because my lessons are flexible and I love spaghetti.”
