Mr. Marcus Broadhead

Mr. Marcus Broadhead is back. After spending a year as a Fayette County High School assistant administrator, Mr. Broadhead has returned to be one of McIntosh’s administrators. He is the administrator in charge of administration services, discipline, evaluations, extra-curricular activities, student events, and public relations.

Before going to FCHS, Mr. Broadhead was an English teacher at MHS for six years and a teacher in New York for six years.

He graduated from Hoftstra University. Mr.Broadhead said that what really got him into teaching was the program Teachers of Tomorrow. “I was a spokesperson of the program, and all the talking I had to do about teaching really connected me to it,” Mr. Broadhead said.

He said that his craziest encounter as an administrator was when during lunch a student started to pierce another student’s ear. As a teacher, Broadhead said the funniest thing was when a student told the class that he was going to go to MSN Charter University.

Although the transfer back to McIntosh was involuntary, Mr. Broadhead said that he is happy to be here.

FCHS lost a valuable role-model when we lost Mr. Broadhead back to McIntosh. Although, it is a plus for the county he is still in it, we miss him daily. In one year his impact on the student body and staff was phenomenal. His leadership skills set a whole new standard, not to mention his style of dress. He is a trend-setter who will put the land of administration on notice with his sense of style, class, compassion, standards and will to make a difference. Best wishes, Mr. B! We miss you!
