Sophomore Ngozi Chukwueke ended Mr. Yarbrough’s broadcast class’ winning streak after nearly a semester of Chick-fil-a coupons.
Every week, the MHS Trail online accompaniment gives away a Chick-fil-a coupon for one free chicken sandwich. Any student can win the prize if they find the hidden “c” within an article on this site.
However, Mr. Yarbrough’s broadcasting class developed an affinity for the coupon. Weekly, a Trail staff member traveled down the stairs and walked to Mr. Yarbrough’s first period classroom to award one of his student with their prize. I witnessed the playful banter of two students over who saw the “C’ first and one asked if he could receive one too since he and the winner found the coupon together. The answer was no, but class remained passionate about finding the hidden “c.”
Considering Ngozi, a non-member of broadcasting class, is this week’s winner, can the broadcasting class reclaim their winning streak or will another student snatch the prize away from them again?
