Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have recently just released “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” and it was surely a film to behold among DC fans. This film is an excellent sequel to 2019’s “Shazam!” which did well in the box office, scoring a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7/10 on IMDb. “Shazam!” made $366 million worldwide.

The second film is directed by David F. Sandberg, who also directed “Shazam!” and will be produced by Peter Safran, who previously worked on 2018’s “Aquaman.” The film will star Zachary Levi, Grace Fulton, Asher Angel, Rachel Zegler, Jack Dylan Grazer, Michelle Borth, Meagan Good, Djimon Hounsou and Ross Butler.

Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson (Angel) and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with their adult superhero alter egos. When the vengeful daughters of Atlas (Derek Russo), Anthea (Zegler), Kalypso (Lucy Liu) and Hespera (Helen Mirren) arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Shazam (Levi) and his allies get thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of the world.

“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” had mixed reviews according to critics; it scored a 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 6.7/10 on IMDb. On its opening weekend, the movie earned $70.2 million worldwide. “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” was very exciting, and full with plenty of action. It was overall very satisfying to watch. “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” had excellent storytelling as well as pacing. I would definitely recommend this feature-length film to DC fans, superhero fans or even just to anyone in general.
