As the school year is coming to a close, there is a feeling of ecstatic anticipation for most, but there is also a feeling of drastic separation for others, especially the graduating class of 2019. Each student in the graduating class has left their mark on McIntosh one way or another and that includes sharing the gift of their voices.

“It’s a bittersweet experience since I’m excited about going to college, but I’m also leaving a lot of memories behind in chorus,” said senior Ava Whitley.

There are thirty-six students from McIntosh chorus that are graduating this year. The voices of those students have not only touched the lives of their audiences, but they also made an influence in the lives of the chorus students coming after them.

“I’m really sad because this class in chorus was really talented and we’re really close,” said sophomore Maya Kulpinski.

The graduates in this year’s McIntosh chorus will take one final bow together during their graduation after their performance of “For Good” from the Broadway musical Wicked.
