The McIntosh chorus banquet was held on Tuesday, April 22 in the cafeteria from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This banquet honored the achievements made by the students who participated in McIntosh’s chorus this school year and how they contributed overall in their chorus classes.

The categories of awards ranged from the Most Entertaining in a Chorus Class to the Best Overall Female and Male in Chorus.

One of the awards that was given out for both women’s and men’s chorus was Best Overall which was given to senior Emma Skaggs for women’s chorus and senior Clay Lawhead in men’s chorus. “When she was announcing this award, I thought that she was talking about another class then she started talking about how the male and female winners in this category in chorus are so compatible, and that’s when I realized that Clay and I were receiving this award which made it the best day ever,” said Skaggs.
