Chorus Singing Valentines

Singing Valentines were delivered during lunch by the fourth-period chorus class February 11 through February 15. During this time, students were able to purchase a “Singing Valentine” for friends. The cost of the Valentine was $2 and along with it came a lollipop. This has been an ongoing tradition at McIntosh for ten years. This year, about 200 Singing Valentines were sold.

“I thought that my chorus groups enjoyed sharing that fun experience with their peers and sharing their musical talents,” said chorus teacher, Hannah Beth Potter.

“I thought that giving someone a singing Valentine was really cool because it was more interactive than just giving someone a card,” said junior Lydia Campbell.

The funds that were made by the Singing Valentines are going towards Spring Gala, which will be held in mid-April by the chorus program.
