Since the beginning of the NCAA basketball tournament on March 15, English students and teachers at McIntosh have been filling out brackets to rate poetry.

Students and teachers have being trying to determine the best poem ever written. Students have been reading and learning about new poems and making their decisions. Teachers are rereading and also making picks based on their past readings of the poems.

Senior Christopher Greco said, “The literature department’s bracket has been a lot of fun to fill out.  The most interesting part about it has been reading and learning about all sorts of new poems.  I most enjoyed finding out which poems were able to advance into the next round.”
