Nathan Skyes releases impressive single

Nathan Skyes’ new hit single “Kiss me Quick” is his first release since leaving the UK hit band “The Wanted.” According to Moxie, an organization that promotes new artists, his single was released in July 2015 and quickly reached no 1 on the US Dance Club Song chart. The song incorporates a very complementary brass section, which gives the whole song a sound much like those of Justin Timberlake.

This big-band-tinged sound is a new step for Nathan, who was influenced by his mother who plays the saxophone, clarinet and flute.Nathan said “I was surrounded by music like that all the way through since I was a child.”

Swapping quickly between very high and low notes without sounding off, Nathan has an amazing ability to control his voice throughout the song. For his music video, Nathan decided it to stay very classy. He wears nothing but black tailored suits on a black or white background. Also, in the video he includes his brass and drum section, which again shows serious influence from Justin Timberlake, whose music videos show much the same thing. Overall, “Kiss Me Quick” proves a very successful start to Nathan’s solo career.
