Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars recently came out with a new song, “Uptown Funk,” on Nov. 10.

The song sounds a bit like “Daft Punk,” but one can still understand the lyrics. The  song is has a catchy tune, and it will probably be a hit.

Remember Pharrell’s “Happy?” Most everyone loved it in the film “Despicable Me 2,” but after a month or so of hearing it played constantly on the radio, the song itself became despicable. Give it a week or two for the radio to catch onto the greatness and overplay it, and “Uptown Funk” won’t have the same appeal.

As for now,  the new song is about a million times better than the currently overplayed “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor.
