“Raising Dragons” book entertains fantasy lovers

IMG_0496King Arthur is a figure of myth and legend, and so are his companions. The wizard Merlin is viewed in many different ways throughout history. In his book “Raising Dragons,” author Bryan Davis claims that if one combined every myth about Merlin, one could pull from the mix “a fiery prophet of the Lord.” Then, he goes on to prove his assertion.

In a delightful mixture of Christian culture and Arthurian legend, Davis leads his readers on the paths of characters Bonnie Silver and Billy Bannister, two anthrozils or creatures who are neither fully human nor fully dragon.  The characters must fight for their lives, defy and fulfill prophecies, and uncover their heritage along the way.

Do I recommend the book? Most definitely.
